Wanda Wilson was the feminine view- point of the officers. She assisted a great deal in the plans for the Stars' Party, and her personality is always a welcome addition to any group. She had already held a number of positions in various clubs. Kenneth Hobbs, a letterman and popular young man, was our Secretary. A member of Spur and an outstanding student, he was a popular choice. He helped a great deal with the plans for Graduation Exercises. Harold Haddon, a brilliant student and let- terman, was our Vice-President. Ordinarily a retiring and modest fellow, Harold showed real leadership on occasion, and served as an able second to lames. Barbara Weiss, our Secretary, was promi- nent also in many other associated enter- prises. The only girl among the officers, she fs nevertheless ably represented the feminine viewpoint, and was a participant in many policy-forming discussions, besides serving in her capacity as Secretary. Four years ago the first members of the 1938 company of stars timidly into Studio W. As stand-ins for a year, they had a chance to learn rules of the game, and develop the characteristics of good troupers. The next year they helped boost a championship football team on to vic- tory, and helped install and pay for the big public address system of Studio W, as members of the cast. Last year they had become featured players, and were responsible for many of Studio W's most conspicuous successes. As the year drew to a close, they joined in grateful farewell ceremonies with which Studio W bade farewell to its honored Vice-President in charge of production, Mr. Harry V. Kepner. And with a new year came a new Vice-President to Studio W. With the seasoned stars of '38 in the lead, spirit has reached a new high, and innova- tions too numerous to mention have been started. And so . . . time . . . marches ON!
