REED The purpose of this club is to support, maintain, and uphold all athletic events of West. It is an organization created for the purpose of arousing school spirit. Before all athtletic games the members sell orange and black shakers and tags. Every year the Boosters sponsor a Erolic in honor of the lettermen of West: this Frolic is one of the social highlights of the school year. The purpose of the Camera Club is to instruct the students in the fun- damental principles and technique of photography, and to experiment with practices which will bring the artistic quality of the product into the plane of a fine art. Throughout the year, the Camera Club takes pictures of the various school activities. Members of the club develop, print, and enlarge their own pictures. The Camera Club also makes pictures for students who are not members of the club. Twice a month, meetings are held after school. There are reports given at these meetings to increase the knowledge of the art of mak- ing good pictures. Membeship in this club is limited to twelve members, all of whom must have during the day one free period which they can spend working Ubackstagen. The invaluable services that these boys render during the school year con- sists of keeping the stage clean and in order, caring for stage properties, operat- ing the lights, changing scenery at all assemblies and entertainments, and co- operating in every way with entertainers. Each person in the club is voted in by the members. A membership may be forfeited by a boy failing to cooperate with the other members or to follow instructions.
