Slogan: Face Life Squarelyf' The Girl Reserve Club of West High School is a member of an interna- tional organization sponsored by the Y. W. C. A. In addition to its local activities. this group meets with the all-city Girl Reserves for Inter-Club Council Meetings, Wednesday Hobby Days , and all-city sports events. The girls are very active in social work. The club contributes each year to the Needlework Guild, cooperates with the Hi-Y club in giving a Christmas party for orphans, and at Easter time gives baskets for the patients of the Children's Hospital. MOORE The purpose of this organization is to stimulate interest in current events of national and international interest. The International Relations Club was first organized at West under the supervision of Miss Bronson. Under the direction now of Mrs. Moore the club has numerous activities, two of which are attending the spring conference held at Denver University, and participating in a similar one conducted by the Denver public schools. Speakers entertain the members at various times throughout the year with cur- rent news of world questitonts and happenings of today. Several parties fill the social calendar for the year. MABEL RANDALL: MISS LOUISE MCNIFF. The Girl Sports Club is a very exclusive club: only girls making ZOO points by popular vote are entitled to membership. Girl Sports donated a tennis cup several seasons ago, and each year pro- mote a tennis tournament, in which the champion's name is engraved on the cup along with the year of her success. They also encourage minor sports such as ice skating, swimming, and ball games of every type. The social life of the club is outstandingg parties, hikes, an-1 dances are given in line with season and holidays.
