Secretary-Historian Sponsor-MISS LOIS GRIFFEY One of the most exclusive clubs in the school is the Masqueraders, West's Drama Society. Membership in the club is limiited to twenty-five students who show dramatic ability. After trying out, the candidate is voted upon by the club with regard to character, interest in dramatics, and scholarship. The dramatic ability of the applicant is determined by the sponsor and her com- mittee. New members must undergo public humiliations for a Week previous to the painful process of initiation. The main activity of the club is a one three-act play given in the spring. The club must be prepared to render service to the school in the way of drama- tic presentations Whenever it is called upon. In the annual speech conference at Denver University in the spring the Masqueraders represented West. MOORE The purpose of this organization is to stimulate interest in current events of national and international interest. The International Relations Club was first organized at West under the supervision of Miss Bronson. Under the direction now of Mrs. Moore the club has numerous activities, two of which are attending the spring conference held at Denver University, and participating in a similar one conducted by the Denver public schools. Speakers entertain the members at various times throughout the year with cur- rent news of world questitonts and happenings of today. Several parties fill the social calendar for the year.
