From the Editors The Staff has been plagued with many upsets at the beginning of this year. We lost two vital people on our staff and experi- enced our first all rookie Photography Staff. Despite this we have tried to use our imagination and to be more creative. We have many totally new ideas and layouts in the Opening Sec- tion and throughout the book. We hope you enjoy this book for we feel we put out our very best effort. Its your book and we hope you are satisfied with it, if not we are always open for suggestions for next year in room 5108. Chieftain Co-Editors, Chris Robelotto and Joanne Pon Very Special Thanks : To Bob for our fantastic cover and the long hard hours on the Sports Section. To Ruth for the consistant hard work and putting up with photogs. You malce great won ton. To Perry for the great teachers section, which if all turned in will be the best ever. To Bev who made terrific layouts and made her deadlines ahead of time! To Joe the Brew for coming when we needed you, AH, and for the use of your mansion! To Chris and Corrie for the many contributions to the great Opening Section. To Colleen and Kathleen for doing the long laborious index. To Diane for helping Perry so much and doing just about everything. To Mike for the great activity captions, maybe one of these years you ' ll learn not to procrastinate! To Martin for coming to our rescue with always excellent prints and for the arial shot. To Scott and Rick, two great rookies, for being in period 5 making prints for mad deadline rushes. We depended on you guys a lot. This was a year of learn- ing and experiencing, hope you guys continue for two more years. To Russ, Brad, Johnny and Tim for your devotion and many contributions to the book. You guys really made Staff a blast. To Keith Meshetto, Richard Hurst, Sandy Robbins, Sharon Parks, Berry Bur- ris and Robert Dlouhy for all your help second semester. It was great having you guys. To Teddy for the contributions to the Opening Section and work first quarter. We were sorry to see you go. To Chris, my Co-Editor, I could have never gotten through without you.
