Chieftains This campus organization under the guidance of Mr. Kelly is dedicated to serving West at social events. Serv- ices rendered by the Chieftains are ticket selling, ushering, working the concession stand and taking ballots during elections. Drama Club The Drama Club is made up of students who work on productions. Many of the members are not en- rolled in a drama class. Besides going to productions outside of West, the club works on three productions during the year: a comedy, a musical and a drama. The interest of the club varies from acting to technical work. Hiking Club The Hiking Club under the guidance of Mr. LaVoy and Mrs. Keenan attended many exciting excursions this year. This included a trip to Mount Baldy and a hike to Mount Lowe Railway Loop Tour. The Hiking Club is in its second year at West. Chess Club The Chess Club meets once a week after schoc 1 to play chess.
