Warrior ettes The 1971-1972 Warriorette Drill Team was led this year by Cap- tain Sandy Howland and Co-Captains Cindy Falcone and Pam Mark. Hours and hours before school started in September, and many more everyday after school hours were spent in preparation for the Warriorettes many performances. Among their many fall activities were Freshman Orientation, football half-times including Homecoming, wh in Seniors were honored, and fall parades. The outstanding v ;ttes took first place at the Hawthorne Band Review, the 1 Parade, and the Rosemead Parade and placed fourth at the ' invitational Band Review, one of the toughest competitions hern California. With Spring came The Hermosa Beach Bo t Parade where the Warriorettes took Second place, the I nual Ice Cream Social and the Rams Basketball Game. ivities included the National City Ma time Band Reviev ance Armed Forces Day Pa- rade and Small Precision U ni tition at Arroyo High School and West High School. 48
