LA. Rams Faculty The Los Angeles Rams returned to West for the third sear to again massacre the male faculty. Halftime was brilliant as the Pep Squad out skilled the female faculty in a Powder Puff aame. 31

Sixpence . West High ' s very first musical was a hit! The spring performance of Half A Sixpence gave a million dollars worth of entertainment. The happy musical starred Dave Levy and Tracey Taylor and the combined talents of choir, drama, and dance classes. The play was about a simple soul Arthur Kipps who lived in Folkstone, hngland during the 1900s and what happened to his life after he received a large sum of money. When Arthur inherits a fortune he loses his perspective. He falls in love with a woman of society and de- velops social ambitions while breaking the heart of his first love, Ann. Naturally everything ends happily Director Miss Sue Cobb said, The Choir, Dance, and Drama classes were united into one art. It got over a hundred people involved and they felt that they succeeded in their efforts. Musical Director Donnelly Fenn conducted the orchestra and directed the members of the chorus. Chorus members were Mary Baird, Don Beck, Cora Blackburn, Sheree Bodoff, Shane Conley, Terry Davis, Christy Gill, Beth Gingench, Ronald Gingerich, Robin Haisten, Doug Hall, Memory Henderson, Jenny Houston, Steve Hoyer, Craig Mitchell, Gary Nakaji, Kathy Neal, Beverly Nuchols, Phyllis Sisk, Debbie Springeld, Sue Springeld, Dina Tur- man, Tina Thomas, Chris Townsend, Paul Troutman, and Jan Whitely. Choreographer was Miss Carrie Holcomb. The dancers were Susan Allingham, Karen Bagley, Karen Carrol, Mathew Carver, Debbie Daniels, Chris Hales, Marcy Lang, Carol Mora, Ann Sharpe, Susan Tomay, Jane Townsend, and Wendy Woldt. Assistant Director was Rose Morgan, Mark Oziemkowski served as stage manager. Ann Sharpe designed the sets. Sets were constructed by Joe Anders, Larry Dayton, Greg Lee, Mike McQuinn, Rose Morgan, Sharyce Munson, Charley Rowe, Kathi Sherrill, and Suzanne Taylor. Cyndi Mannion and Kathi Sherrill were in charge of props. Joan Sebelius was in charge of the costumes. Lighting was handled by Jack Bungarden, Joe Crockett, and Mark Stieglitz. The Make-up crew was Terry Thorpe, Jill Childers, Lance Conley. Lora Crawford, Vickie Gardner, Alix Plum, and Phyllis Sisk. Ushers were Paul Atkinson, Judy Mayer, Alix Plum, Kathy Rakes, Jeff Stephens, Karla Trader, Lori Verstraete. 33
