Christmas Concert The annual West High Christmas Con- cert, Christmas Through a Child ' s Eyes , with performances by the entire choral group and dance company, started the Christmas season with sounds of joy. Solos were performed by Tracy Taylor and Mark Ritchie, accompanied by Beth Gingerich on guitar. An excellent performance by the Ad- vanced Girls Glee received a standing o- vation from a packed auditorium. 25

Registration i t Daze f t Remember all the fun you had wait- ing in line to get a number f or regis- tration and then being able to come back again at 4:00 to have the pleas- ure to wait in line again? And oh how easy it was to schedule your classes when all the ones you wanted were all at the same time? Or the joy that came to your heart when you were given the choice of picking your teachers and then found out the only class open is the teacher you don ' t want. Weren ' t you glad to put the com- puter in it ' s place and let man take a simple act and turn it into a compli- cated mess? But you found that our new system of scheduling is far better than having to sit home and worry about what the computer was doing with your life. 24
