This year we tried to show that there is more to West than just books and classrooms. There are people. And it is the people that make this yearbook. As Editor this year I learned many things- new techniques and most importantly, teamwork and co-operation. This can not come only from the staff, but from the whole school. I want to show my appreciation for all those who have helped us this year. Mr. Kreiswirth for a start, whose artwork gave the annual an interesting and unusual look, and for certain candid captions he donated to us. Mr. Bawden for the help he ' s given us with information on everything and other needs. Mr. Call for the many days he has let us interrupt his clases to work on last minute deadlines. We still owe him for that. I ' d like to thank Rolf and Chuck and all the other students who helped in so many ways. To Joni, Pam, Karen and Nadine, the assistant editors. I can only say that as being friends and workers it has truly been fantastic. To The rest of the staff and photographers lean not show my gratitude enough Their long hours and hard work have turned this annual into a dream realized which began from the first day of this class. I owe a special word of thanks to Steve Wrigley who came on staff at the semester break and therefore didn ' t get his name on the front page along with all the others. He deserves more recognition than he has received. And I want to thank Mr. Duckworth, who ' s been more of a good friend to us than a teacher. We couldn ' t have done it without him. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to produce a yearbook. Forgive our mistakes, and if anyone has any suggestions for improvement let us know. This is our school and it ' s what you make of it.
