Many activities take place at the lunch table other than the business ot eating. This is the time to hear the latest iokes, gossip, and luke box tunes. Friends gather and make plans tor after-school aciivie ties. Atter eating, students walk around the halls, Many clubs earn their money selling candy, pickles, buttons, pennants, a n d various other things at noon. Courses such as public speaking and driver edu- cation instill skills that may be used every day of the year. Two vocational conferences are held to acquaint us with the various vocations avail- able after graduation.
