ACTIVITIES The BLUE STREAK is born The new West High Newspaper THE BLUE STREAK published a first edition newspaper in early February after grueling work since September. Start- ing over is probably the hardest job but determina- tion and a handful of really interested people can do anything. That’s the way it started with Mrs. Wagoner and her first period English class and it billowed into a four-page publication and a staff of eighteen. Articles on teachers, sports, opinions, outstanding students and events fill the pages, with cartoons, and pictures adding interest.
