D.A.R. Good Citizen Award During the 1970 Awards Assembly Miss Terri Maxwell was selected by the Daughters of the American Revolution as the Good Citizen of West Henderson High School for the current year. She was chosen through her demonstration of the qualities of Dependability, Lead- ership, Service and Patriotism. Terri is currently active with the FALCON STAFF, Senior Vice-President of Keyettes, Drill Team Manager, Secre- tary of F.T.A., Monogram Club, Beta Club, Dramatics Club and Pep Club. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Maxwell of Hendersonville. Pilot Club Safety Essay Miss Kay Brackett was the West Hender- son High School winner of the Pilot Club Safety Essay Contest. The essay in itself was to be at least 2,000 words dealing with the “Teen-Ager Behind the Wheel’. Each winner received $25.00. Kay is active in Keyettes of which she is representative to Student Council, Junior Class Secretary and Homeroom Vice- President. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Brackett of Hoopers Creek.
