Bruce Bell Pam Bowers Brenda Brown Earl Brown { Shirley Bryson Richard Buchanan Gary Byrd Leslie Cantrell Your four years in high school are the greatest experience one could imagine. In the beginning it’s being a freshman and not knowing what is going on. There is nothing but confusion with what seems an infinite number of students and buildings, but somehow everyone manages to live through it. Then comes the sophomore year with familiar faces and an urge to really become involved in West High. It’s cutting up frogs in Mr. Jarvis’ class and world history with Mrs. Stakias. Sooner than you think comes the junior year and you are now an upperclassman. A great feeling prevails as a year of U. S. History, raising money for the Junior-Senior, College Boards, the Jr. Sr. and finally class rings goes by. It is really great but before you know it you are a senior, who is respected by all. It’s a year of doing things for the last time, a year of saying good-bye to the activities and friends that have meant so much. You realize suddenly that it’s over and you are now at the beginning of a new life. Starting at the bottom rung of the ladder, but using all these valuable high school experiences in a successful life. 100
