DAR AWARD During the 1969 Awards Assembly, Miss Nancy Hall received the Daughters of the American Revolution Award, for honesty, patriotism, and citizenship. Nancy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Hall. She is active in Monogram Club, Keyettes, and cheerleading. Also during the 1969 Awards Assembly, Miss Pam Baldwin received the Good Citizen Award presented by Mrs. Dorothy T. Hogan of the Joseph McDowell Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution. This award is given on the basis of leadership, service, patriotism, and dependability. Receiving this award entitles the winner to compete for a scholarship. Pam is an active member of Beta Club and Keyettes. NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION PROGRAM Last summer, Miss Linda Newman attended the National Science Foundation Summer Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Linda was one of sixty rising seniors selected from the eastern United States to participate in a six week study program. While there, she studied mathematics, computer science, biology, and astronomy. 95
