MATH DEPARTMENT SOCIAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT The Social Science Department strives to give the students an appreciation of the world in which they live through a knowledge of the past and the present. In order to possess this know- ledge, students must understand the development of their country and the advantages which they enjoy as citizens of that country. It is, therefore, the aim of the Social Science Department to in- still this knowledge and to inspire students as they learntheir role as citizens of the commun- ity, the nation, and the world. History teaches that man has been able to master practically everything except himself, so in this realm, he has to look to his Creator for guidance. Therefore, the Social Science Department should also inspire students to send their roots deep into the soil of life's enduring values. The Mathematics Department tries to meet the learning needs of the student by helping the student to see the relationship of mathematics to other areas of his work, by stimulating logical and scientific think- ing, by enabling the student to acquire knowledge of the facts of mathematics and allied subjects.

How shall we rear our children ? How shall we work together ? How shall we live withour fellow man? How shall we play ? We fully agree with journalist, educa- tor, andwriter, Dr. Will Durant, who said, There can be no fulfillment of life's ulti- mate purpose without a successful mar- riage and a good family life.
