With the help of our advisors, Mrs. Lutz and Mrs. Griffin, we spent many hours in planning, making photographs, drawing layouts, soliciting ad- vertisements, identifying pictures, selling subscriptions and surviving the ever present pressure of meeting a deadline. The Block F Club of West Henderson was established in the fall of 1961 for the advancement of the athletic programs and the recognition of the students who have won letters by participating in one or more of the school's sports. The purpose of Block F is to promote better sportsmanship and further develop the sense of responsi- bility among its members through its service to West Henderson High School, The Block F Club was sponsored by Mr. Woodson. The major project for the year was the selling of Falcon shirts. The proceeds were used to finance a banquet in honor of all students participating in one of the school sponsored sports.
