JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS President. ... . Bob Gossett Vice-President. . Ronnie Davis Secretary. . . Carolyn Souther Treasurer ... . Doris Lance JUNIOR CLASS Approximately 120 juniors embarked upon the shiny, new campus of West Hendersonearly last fall. How well we remember that first day. Students saw familiar faces, as well as meeting new friends and teachers. Everyone was happily admiring one of the most beautiful schools in the state. There was some disorganization that day, but under the guiding hands of Mr. Marlow, things rapidly began to take shape. The Junior Class was divided into four groups with Mrs. Dotson, Mrs. Corpening, Mrs. Griffin, and Mr. Hollamon at the reins. These groups, like all the other classes, became a close-knit one in a surprisingly short time. This was due to the remarkable spirit and enthusiasm shown by all juniors. In the middle of February, we were very fortunate to have an additional member added to our faculty, Mrs. Burgoon, who quickly earned the respect and admiration of her students, and became one of our sponsors. As the months quickly passed, we realized that we were coming to the end of another school year--One, not like any of the others, Our first year at West High has been a most enjoyable one because of the guidance, patience, and kindness that has been shown us. 2)
