Carol Simpson SENIOR CLASS On September 2, 1960, ninety-four dubious seniors began their first and last year at West Hen- derson High School. Although we doubted our acceptance of this newschool, we soon found our every fear removed--for at West were to be found the many opportunities in scholastic achievement, in leadership development, and in making new friends. So it is that we have spent the most wonderful year of our lives. We are now looking two ways toward our graduation--backward and forward. Weare reluctant to leave all the wonder we are so happy to have found, but we will, of course, proudly carry with us the great honor of being the first graduating class of West Henderson. But nevertheless, to all who have made our dreams come true--to our parents and families, to our teachers and friends, to our principal, Mr. Marlow, and to our three sponsors, Mrs. Cassady, Mrs. Lutz, and Mr. Thompson--we offer our deep gratitude and most sincere thanks.
