gtk? MOTION, the science of the physicist, is a con- tinuous change of position. To the sports enthusiast, these changes are the very essence of the game. The excitement of a forward pass or a baseball hit high into the sky is electrifying to the fans in their seats. They applaud, laugh or mourn in a single surge of emotion. Power, too, is expressed in motion. A 250 pound fullback charging through the line is power in action. The basketball swishing through the net shows physical laws channelled into motion. Q53 2 f' Football: The football team this year playing with a large number of first year men, turned out a sub-par record of 1 and 6. Mr. Nicholas Salerno, and Mr. Alex Cotsales, coaches, depended upon, and based their plays around returning veterans Paul Binder, end, Joe Pisciotta, guard and center, Richard Ainbinder, guard and center, Barry McArthur, Mike Guida, Ray Miscovsky, and Steve Galgano backfield men.
