SENIOR CLASS Poe Now we look back at the why and the how Our thoughts stlr with affection While pondering our past declsions memories and reflections There were moments of apprehension When our hearts were filled with pain With our strength and endurance to guide us We have smlled amidst the rain As children we seemed to float endlessly Dreams carried us o'er the world But along with the tears and the laughter Knowledge of time has unfurled We oft wonder where our paths will lead us So few of us really know Pauslng with hesltance we find ourselves Hearts gripped ln fear of what life will bestow Our past is but a distant reflection Memories cherished as gold Longlngly we look toward the future And the treasures it may hold Success is a hope we can not foresee Many will travel afar But others, having mere dreams to guide them Will never attaln their star Cloudy doubts in our mlnd are gathering As our last year passes by Dnly our hopes for the near future Keep us reaching out before the new sky The time has come to look bravely ahead Put away all our sorrow Only by striving to maintain our faith May our lives touch tomorrow Debbie Malniero Senior Class Poet
