CLASS HISTORY The Class of 1964 Four short years ago in 1960 we found ourselves walking through the doors of West Hazleton High School. This marked the beginning of our high school years. Now we have finally reached the end of our high school days. This is the end of one phase in our life, but it is also the beginning of another. Soon we will all take on many different careers each taking his place in this world. In September 1960 we entered the school as Freshmen. We started the year with avery successful magazine campaign. Then the long awaited Fresh- man Day came and the Freshman Prom completed the joys of Junior High. During our Sophomore year we presented an outstanding program on Sopho- more Day and our class went all out to make it a very successful class day. We also Won the good-sportsmanship trophy sponsored by WAZL for our sports- manship at the annual Turkey Day Game. Time passed rapidly and before we knew it our Junior year was upon us. This was the year we received our long awaited class rings. In December we presented our class play, IN CASE OF MURDER which proved to be a great success under the direction of Mr.Charles Zaremba. Our Junior Day and dance climaxed our eventful Junior year. Our Senior year was the happiest and best year of all. Using Nations Best Class , as our theme we presented an outstanding program, followed by a dance in the evening which climaxeda very happy Senior Day. Our Senior Class play entitled Miss Jimmy was under the direction of Mr. Paul J. Baker and Mr.F. X. Antonelli. Then the long awaited Senior Prom and Class Commence- ment came, which closed our joyous high school days with many wonderful memories. Gloria Clark Marion Bley Gloria Brugger 3 sd K K Emi 5? nits, H
