Soon we will all take on many different careers each taking his place in this world. In September 1960 we entered the school as Freshmen. We started the year with avery successful magazine campaign. CLASS POEM Three full years have passed away, Since that first momentous day, When the Sophomore class of 64 Passed through this beckoning door, Perhaps we thought then of great success, Within these walls--W.H.H.S. When journeying on the path of life, Either laboring toward goals or amidst great st May we always remember and hold dear, These scared halls standing here. For through the years we made many a friend, And now it's quickly drawing to an end. Yes, the end of the fun, and the memories true, And all the studying we had to do. In our minds and in our hearts, Is the realization that now we must part. It seems the time has come to go, From our cherished high school, and so , With sadness, but anticipation too, We fondly turn and say Adieu . Upon arriving at Airport Kennedy, which wasnamed after our late 35th President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, we noticed our lovely airline hostesses were Barbara Geisick and Linda Berlitz. To our surprise our pilots were Jimmy Strack, Richie Green, and Bill Houseknecht. As we departed from our jet, we entered the B Sz J Coffee Shop owned by Betsy Weber and Joey Gavitt. We were approached by some old friends, Susie Gurgol, Carole Minnig, Sandy Wojciehowski, Carol Davidson, Ruthie Mincavage and Mary Ann Petruskevich. We decided to have a cup of coffee and talk over old times. Mary Zamesky was the waitress, while Frank Tokash was one of the bus boys. As our cab arrived, Thomas Launikonis put our luggage in the trunk, while the cab driver was an old and dear friend, Bobby Schaefer, who said the former Andrea Lench was home and doing fine. Our hotel was a huge skyscraper called the Hotel Wolk owned by Robert Jabber Wolk. The doormanwas dressed ina green uniform, his hat covered half of his face, but when he lifted it we realized it was Dennis Kon Levitsky. We were greeted by the hotel manager Eddie Haburshock. As we approached the elevator, we were greeted by an old friend, the elevator man, Terry Hers- ker. Our beds were being made by the chambermaids, Lucille Marchette, and Charlotte Kulsa. We tipped the bellhop, Paul Brankovich, our last fifty cents. ' OFF TO THE FAIR The Worlds Fair was under management for the past five years of a local Sheppton boy, John Stanalonis. We went to the Space Exhibit Program and explaining a few astronautical devices were cos- monauts, Sandy Marsch, Donna Redwinski, Helen Marie Gallagher, Barbara Miller and Dolores Serwinski. A few astronauts standing close by to give a demonstration of a take -off were Wayne Lawerence, Frank Pasdon, Eddie Makarewicz, Henry Malisko and Richie Skitch Mistal. The Medical Exhibit was very interesting. There were all sorts of physicians from every field of medicine. The women representing the nursing field were Joyce McGeehan representing Hawaii,Marion Ulshafer and Beverly Berger were representatives for Japan, Linda Getz repre- sented Germany, Geri Garbacik represented Poland, Sandy Stavoich and Peggy Kenny presented Ireland. There were many handsome doctors there, namely Richie Durishin ,the head veterinarian, Bob Williams, an Obstetrician, Dr. Andy Moisey Pediatrician and Dr. Richard Bonacci Dentist. Leaving the exhibits we came across the recreational center. We met Claudette Davies in the ticket booth. Running the merry-go-round was John Evancho. We heard a hot trumpet player and to our amazement it was Ronnie Knapp. Next on the program was our answer to singing nightingales. They were Paula Russell, Alice Williams, Sharon Bergeron and Cathy McGeehan. Then came the exciting moment of the horse races. A few of the jockeys were Joe Andrews, Max Aronoff, Robert Bradley, Charles Miller, Ronald Beach, Thomas Roth, Mike Popick and George Pesansky. Winning the race was Roger Hoystrich. The afternoon came to an end along with the wonderful time at the fair, but as the evening drew near, so did the class of 1964's 25th class reunion. The reunion was being held at the T.V.T. Hall owned by Ilean Slusser, Janet Walker and Frances Victor. The band composed of David Kite ,George Eisenhower, Jerry Kulig, Diane Dippel, Betty Lou Smith, Patsy Pecora, Mary Jane Reese, Celeste Rossi, Ronnie Eckrote and Barbara Ackerman, played for fight songs to renew memories. Yosh Grobelny has played professional basketball but is now coaching while his first lady Joanne Antonelli is close by, teaching at Penn State. Corky Bogert and Patsy Yencha are very happy living in Florida where they are nuclear physicists. Cheryl Grosso is a hair-stylist in New York with her assistants Paulette Platukis, Sandy Petrole, Linda Johnson and Joyce Pangrazzi. Many prizes were awardedg Suellen Leib for the most children with Lucille Kuhns being runner -up. Paul Platukis was given the prize for having the least hair. A comment was made on how young looking Ronnie Thomas, Gary Croll, Joyce Hildebrand, and JulianneDebias were. The shortest class member was Judy Foose and the tallest were Joe Salvanovich and Jimmy Henry. We found out Cherie Walborn is living in Bloomsburg. Her husband is a professor there. Diane Henry,Janice Reimer, Carol Smith and Rosalie Matusho- neck came in from California where they work for Warner Brothers, now owned by Charlie Fen- drick, Tommy Volciak and Kenny May.
