Salutatorian Rosie Dearborn, Class President Maynard Schmitz, and Valedictorian Marcia Harris. Loren J. Slaght May 24, 1963, thirty-nine Seniors brought to a close twelve years of education. The Seniors came as graduates and moments later were alumni. Mr. Uebel presented the class to Mr. Walters who proceeded to give them their di- plomas. The exercises came to a close. Monday May 20th at 12:01 a.m. marked the beginning of three days packed full of fun and sight -seeing for 34 members of the class of '63. Some of the places they went were Detroit, a town in Canada, and Chicago. They spent a short time in each place. Many ofthe sen- iors came home to sleep, as some of them hadn't since the night they left. They came home tired and happy and somewhat sad, too, as graduation was only a few days away.
