We weave a thread of it every day, and at last we cannot break it. The years spent in high school are probably the most important in forming the habits that will stay with us through- out our lives. Our actions and attitudes each day weave a thread of the habits that will become a permanent part of us. We often think that we will do better tomorrow or next year or when we go to college, but by then it may be too late. The cable will be too strong to break. Each day in high school is important, for what you do today will de- termine what you will do tomorrow. GCU f d, MI. During our Freshman Year, Caroline Brown was President and Mrs. W. I. McGaughey was our sponsor. Our Sophomore year our class was headed by Gerry Funkner and our sponsor was Glenn Channell. We gave our Sophomore Shuffle, White Christmas, just before Christmas. The highlight of our Sophomore year was initiating the freshmen. Our Junior year was the busiest of all. In October we had our Junior Carnival. Later we gave our Junior Play, The Adorable Imp, under the direction of Mrs. Glenn Channell. The biggest thrill of all was the Junior-Senior Prom, Moon- light and Roses. A great deal of credit is owed to Gerry Funkner and Mr. Grayford Chesher, our President and sponsor. Under the direction of Julian Bucher, president and Mrs. Shoffner and Mr. Henson as sponsors, our Senior Class is getting along swell. We have given one chili supper and are making plans for Senior Play and most of all, our Senior Trip to Colorado Springs. Well, kids, these four years have sure been grand.
