The commercial and journalism departments publish it monthly, the current year faculty advisers being Miss Sara B. Brooks and Klrs. Cecil Nlaxwell. Eleanor Ginn is Editor-in-Cihief assisted bv a very efficient stall. FUTURE FARMERS OF AMlilZIC'rX The XVest Gantt Future Farmers of America Club was organized by the agricultural class on October 10. 19-ll, with I. P. Montgomery as adviser. The following are officers: President. Parnell Kellarg Vice-President, Mendel Stroudg Secretary, Roy Rollinsg Treasurer, Thomas Riddle. This organization is composed of seventeen members. GIRL SCTOUTS The troop of X'Vest Gantt Girl Scouts was llI'LQ2.lIlllCLl in l9-ll with Mrs. l.. lf. Nicholson as leader and Mrs. Catherine Broekman Sanders as assistant leader. This year Mrs. Nicholson is the leader and Miss Grace Hiott is the assistant. The troop committee is composed of Mrs. Eva O. Bethea, Mrs. F. D. Holliday, Mrs. joe Perry, Miss Anne Morgan and Miss lilifaheth llarmon. There are eleven active members who meet every Nlondav afternoon. BLOCK LETTER CLUB lhe llloelt l.etter C luh is an organization made up of students xx ho excel in athletics. lo become a tneinber one Inllst meet the following requirements: fine character, good sportsmanship. wholesome attitude, participation in all games and in tournament.
