I I N SERGEANT BRUWN sTA,ES I am deeply thankful and honored for this opportunity to congratulate the students of Worthington High School on not only graduating, but their many fine contributions that help make this fine school a progressive school and Armstrong County a better place in which to live. As a resident of your community, a participant in its chris- tian and social activities and a concerned parent, I am deeply interested in the youth of our schools. I can never hope to impress on the minds of the students of Armstrong County, the need of grasping every bit of education possible. Educa- tion not only pays off to the individual, but to his parents, his community, and to his future family which is the basic desire of every American man and woman. Once you receive your diploma you can better appreciate the many fine oppor- tunities the United States Army can offer you. Your education does not stop when you enter military service. You can ie- gard the United States Army as just another stepping stone of furthering your education. Look into your United States Army's technical school program and better your education while you serve your country. It is the only service where aman or woman can make their choice of 117 different tech- nical schools and get awritten guarantee from major general Klien Washington, D. C. in the technical school of their choice. You also can gain credits toward a college degree. Stay in school and get your high school diploma. Don't generalize but specialize. 92
