'1:::aiiE5E3:5:::slIlE5E3:g::mlllm .enlI::25f? iillnzz-25E355illl::' 'Young Smitty' The Smith family, consisting of Mrs Smith, Mr Smith Sylvester, and Betty, is a tyoical family Sylvester, who dossn't like his name, refuses to be called anything but Smitty ' Mrs Smith, who adores her son, reeents the fact that he does not like his name Mr Smith owns a vietrola factory which has gone bankrupt Betty tries to make a good impression on a rich young man, whom she met while visiting with her wealthy relatives, by pretending that her family is also wealthy Myrna Marlowe, a movie actress has some home to visit her mother, Stella Mable Smitty and Daisy Mae have been sweetheerts ever since they were children When Myrna returns, Smitty falls in love with her Daisy Mae is vexed by this and pretends to like Nick Graham, Sm1tty's ohum Rodney Cluett, the man Betty loves, has been Sent to this town to sell out Mr Sm1th's factory When Myrna sees Rodney, she turns her attentions from Smitty to Rodney Mr Smith has had an accident at the factory and he will not recover unless he gets some serum from Buffalo Smitty takes s plane and goes after it Mrs Smith is all broken up about this because Smitty promised never to fly a plane again Smitty returns with the serum and Mr Smith recovers under the expert care of Dr Mildred Westerly and the nurse, Alice Fltohett Mean while Rodney has lent money to Smitty, and they have turned the viotrola factory into an airplane factory Myrna goes back to Hollywood leaving Rodney and Betty to themselves, and Smitty again turns his affections to Daisy Mae Everyone is happy once more Cast Mrs Smith Rosanna Shearer Mr Smith John Pavlik Betty Smith Maybelle Bundy Rodney Cluett Richard Shearer Myrna Marlowe Arbutus Anthony Stella Mable Virginia Ruffsner Nick Graham Charles Bofinger Daisy Mae Jean Bowser Dr Mildred Westerly Dorothea Bauer Alice Fitchett Ann Conrad 'Sis I N .
