This plan asked each member of the club to donate fifty hours of his own time to the community. After the first year, Manhours for Mankind became the international Key Club theme for the second year since it was so well received. Now, this is KCI,s permanent theme. Every summer Key Club International holds an International convention to es- tablish the officers in this level, as well as all the themes and goals for the upcoming yearj' said President, Andy Mueller. Other activities in which the Key Club was involved include Rainbow Mile, which helps to raise money for Muscular Dis- trophy. Also, Key Club sponsored a Valen- tines Dance which was held after the Mt. Tabor game. They also were active with the Clean and Green program, which helped West win its Clean and Green award again. Mr. Barlow felt that, For the past two years, the Key Club has been the best service club at West. The Key Club is an excellent service organization that gives its members an op- portunity to serve their school and com- munity. It helps to develop certain quali- ties such as leadership and responsibility. But most of all, the Key Club is a lot of fun, stated Andy Mueller.
