F RESI-IME Cheerleader By Amy I-Ioweii yo y West Forsyth freshifneng do not usually make itttofthe varsi- ty level in sports. However, one freshman, Mike Espositog did make it to the varsity level as a cheerleader. I really became interested in the sport when the squad here became co-ed, stated Mike. I like learning and trying new stunts. It brings me great pleasure to success- fully complete a difficult stunt or to master something new. This was Mike's first year as a cheerleader, and he .hopes to continue participatingiinr this sport because he really enjoys cheering. Mike also enjoys the sports competitiveness and use of gymnastics. J J J yi J Playing J.V. soccer and baseball were also among Mike's interests this year. In addition, he participated in Westis student government as part of the Steering Commit- tee.
