SHMORG ASBORD: Seniore Deb Schiff and Erika Hoffman wear a variety of earrings DANGLING AROUND: Senior Deb Gareffa takes a break from En- glish PROFILE: Senior Tod Zaydchek exposes his earring for all to see Earrings. They're getting larger and heavier to wear, but as they say, the bigger, the better. People could be wearing cymbals and no one would give it a second thought. Some opt for the simple but large... but if it isn't big, it better be strange. Students like to display their individuality in different ways. Someone could be wearing large hoop, a foot in diameter, and another could be pos- sibly sporting five different earrings on the same ear Students even create their own earrings, but no matter what they hang on their ear, it'll be distinctly West Essex. Earrings have definitely become a part of a student's wardrobe. Even the guys are displaying their tastes in earrings. They will poke feathers, crosses, and diamonds through their ears, and similar to girls, will wear this jewelry to catch someone's attention, of course, to look good. STUDENT UFE 11

GLANCING UP FROM HER WORK: Senior June Pasquorelll takes time to flaunt her fashion statement COLOR COORDINATION: Senior Jen Nargi wears a brocelet to match her sweater Fads come and go so quickly, it's tough if you blink. We go through stages; there was the Lemon Twist and the hula hoop. However, about once every season, students come up with a fashionable trend you wouldn't be caught dead wearing the following year. Would you wear bell-bottoms with neon socks and lace gloves today? So what's the trend this year @ Wessex? Yam. Yam bracelets, anklets, and necklaces are additions to al- most every student's wardrobe. Students obviously enjoy wearing, and making, them. During a boring lecture in class, one student can be found with some twisted strings of fall colors! Different colors twined in different patterns worn right next to the gold and ster- ling silver. You can wear only one or you can wear ten, hi it i-trvn't wflnt them next vear. STUDENT UFE 13
