He was true magician of the time.” Our Merlin has many demand- ing tasks before him inasmuch as he is in charge of the Business Affairs of the school. These tasks cover budget development, main- tenance, transportation, cafeteria, purchasing, accounting and finan- cial controls, conducting the annual school elections, and the supervising of non-instructional personnel. The Assistant Superintendent also serves as the Secretary of the Board of Education. § tr IGanreliit Directing the work of the teach- ers and pupils, and the internal operation of the school is only part of Sir Lancelot’s task. The instructional program is his major responsibility. The study and revision of curriculum, in- service education and supervision for teachers, and guidance services for pupils are all part of his work toward program improvement.
