34214 f ec? Here we are again all gathered together at a class reunion at the Pleasant Hill Club House. The year is 1963. VVe have been out of school for ten years. Let us look into each others lives and see what ten years have done for us. Carolyn Anderson, whose teeth got in the way of a baseball, is now a successful woman dentist in Rocky Motint, N. C. Ann Bottoms, who was a hit in the Senior Play is starring on her own TV Program. Nellie Bottoms and Elizabeth lenkins are successful housewives. David Gurganus, the comedian of the class, is now a clown in the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus. Millie Price, who was tops in math, is now a Professor of Math at Womanis College. Watching the diets of overweight people is Christine Worrell, who was always interested in Home Economics. To make typing more up-to-date, we have Peggy Land and Doris Iean Newsome teach- ing at I-lardbarger's. ' To improve recreation in West Edgecombe Community, Loretta Ioyner and Christine Millwood have opened a dancing hall. Robert Burgess, who could never see why that foul was made, is writing annual basketball rule books. Bobby Iohnson, who was always devoted to his school bus, is now a Greyhound bus driver. The Nobel Prize winner of I963 is Charles Lancaster, whose literature has been trans- lated into five different languages. Floyd Flora, who was always interested in the school paper, is now a top reporter for the New York Times, edited by Myrl Kinkead. Wilbur Edmondson, Iohn Walter Lancaster and Gene Gay are the latest additions to the famous Globetrotters. Frank Bunn, a lover of basketball, is now coaching at his Alma Mater. Frances Brake, who was interested in teaching children, has her own kindergarten. Vernell Proctor, the musician of the class now has her own music pupils. Claude Braddy and Donald Logan, lovers of baseball, are now playing for the New York Yankees, managing the team is Russell Walters. Ioyce Breedlove is stenographer for Iimmy Edwards, a big business man in Sharpsburg. Donald Murphy, who had an eye for Geometry, now has his own business-designing church windows. - Now we see Iessie Dean Rose in China serving as a missionary. Tommy Ienkins, who was always interested in cars, is now the owner of a used car lot. Bob Burgess, who always had so much speed, is now testing let airplanes for faster speed. Ioe Ienkins, who was always good in Bookkeeping, is now keeping books for Hanes Underwear. Peggy Langston, who kept up the school spirit by cheer leading is now head of a recrea- tional department in Raleigh. Velma Ethridge, who was always interested in typing and bookkeeping, is now keeping books for the principal at W.E.l-l.S. Mae Ezzell, who was always interested in softball, is now managing her own team in Winston-Salem. Dot Griffin, who did such a good job of scorekeeping, is now keeping score for Everett Case of North Carolina State College.
