'76 '77 Pride inthe school is reflected in the charming smile of Mrs. Dee Porter, the newest addition to the West Covina High School business department. Long a Spartan in-law, she joined her husband Barry as an official '?family member. Basketball ga.mes ! ! I Qfor what reasons we wonder '25 are her favorite sport. Oil painting, knitting, snow and water skiing, cooking, playing bridge, and collecting antiques keep her active and away from shopping, her most pleasurable recreation. This activewomanwas asongleader both at Glendale College, where she was voted one of the ten outstanding women, and also at UCLA where she was president of her sorority and where she met her husband. She was later further involved with volunteer work through the Covina Junior Womens' Club, the PTA, and Little League. A handsome Irish setter, The Duke of Darvey, joins her husband and ,three sons, Brett, Dan, and Dean, in greeting her at home each night. For her steadfast support of all Spartan activities, the staff happily dedicates this year's 1977 Lycurgean to Mrs. Dee Porter.
