-L MM 2 X Feeding the pigeons is against the rules! 'Ulm ' With so many clubs on one campus, there must be some means of communica- tion between the members of different clubs. To enable each club to know what the others are doing is the job of Inter-Club Council. The council consists of representa- tives, usually presidents, sent from each club with the responsibility of imparting information to fellow students. For the most part, the council meets to work out the problems which arise in the scheduling of activities and perfecting club policies. This year a system of awards has been worked out to increase competitivespirit between the different clubs. Two trophies fone for the small groups and one for the larger organizationsj will be placed on display. Each year the two winning clubs . . . will have their names inscribed on these impressive trophies. The competition is stiff. Vg' Because we feel that knowledge of citizenship is im- portant, just as any other part of an education, we have tried to practice citizenship at our school. Our school government, patterned after our nation's government in- cludes a judicial branch, the Student Court. Chief justices: Cherril Oram and Marcia Harris The purpose of the Student Court is to try to determine the guilt or innocence of students who are suspected of committing a violation of our W.C.H.S. laws. Sentences are also determined by the court and the justices try to be as fair as possible in carrying out punishments. Justice jay Leiberman justice Carol Holtschulte Working hand in hand with the student court, the Enforcement Agency is faced with a problem of immense proportions. Their job has been made easier, however, by the willingness to co-operate on the part of the students. This was evident by the success of a service-club, sponsored Klean-Kampus Week. We hope that the Spartans and the Enforcement Agency will con- tinue to co-operate in the keeping of the campus peace. Enforcement: Mike Bradley Carol slips the justice a bribe.

IILW' L Marilyn Campbell ' United Bringing 771 girls together, making each one feel a member, and getting something accomplished seems like an almost impossible task, but Girls' League waxed victorious even over the impossibilities and did its part in making everyone feel at home at Wfest Covina. So many things have to be done and, of course, President Marilyn Campbell had the toughest job to do. Along with her cabinet, board, and the advisors: Miss Buch, Miss Nichols, Miss Kindel and Mrs. Signer, Marilyn planned and had a very good year. Organization, above all, showed up in everything the girls did. Big and Little Sister Day, Hello Wfeek, and Hello Hop, assemblies, the doll-making contest, the Valentines Ball, Historical Hysteria fthe All Girl Reviewj and the Sr. Mothers' Tea highlighted our year with enjoyment for all and fun, especially, for the girls who made the plans and did the work. Congratulations to each and every girl at West Covina for doing her part in Girls League!
