Mr. Clark was the faculty advisor for the BANK OF AMERICA AWARDS. This medal is presented at graduation to the student who, in the estimation of the faculty, has achieved the best record in the study of science. The purpose of the Bank of America Achievement Awards is to stimulate and encourage students in their academic, vocational, and citizenship training. It utilizes a large number of cash awards and trophies to emphasize the value of self improvement, service to others, and individual achievement. The ultimate goal is to select senior students in each general field who, by their record of achievement, give greatest promise for future success and service to society. lt is to be emphasized that scholarship alone is not the final determinant. lt is the well-rounded student that is sought, tolerance, character, personality, regard for others, and a sense of civic responsibility.
