Zmcz On this hallowed ground this mlghty fortress of learnmg has stood for many a year The mam and ollglnal bulldmg was erected ln 1898 A very small class grad uated In 1901 the first class to graduate In 1913 the new south wlng was bullt and the rest of the bulldmg was made as modern as If could be un that day ln 1935 the audltorlum gymnasium was begun but not completed untnl 1937 We then were the largest school ln Dodge County ln 1949 the new band room and bus garage was extended from the back of the gym Numerous other Improvements have been made durmg the past year The Home Economics Department has been improved, the lunch room modernized and the lndustrlal arts room more fully equupped New washrooms were Installed on the thlrd floor The school has thus far llved up to all expectations and we hope nt wlll continue to do so WEST CONCORD HIGH SCHOOL VX A A 3 xv' 'A A ' ,V V .
