In the followung pages of the Concorduan wull tell y what we thunk the future of duffer ent senuors us what they have accomplushed, what has happened un departments luke musuc and athletucs but furst l wull tell you a luttle about the hustory of our class Of theclass of furst graders those who have been un West Concord all twelve years are Phul Stucky Luverne Marucle Dean Kurkland James Heley and Barbara Mc Carthy Harold Verness was here all but a half year Betty Verness an Aluce Dullman uouned he class un uts fufth year ln September of l946 our class then consustung ofthurty two stud ents started our second phase of educatuon at West Concord Hugh School In October of that year we were properly unutuated by the sopho mores Thus was the last year be fore restructuons so they really put us through the paces There was many a chuckle over the costumes ofthe evenung Each of us had to do at least one of the trucks they had planned for us We also had to put on a mock romantuc play We gave a return party about a month later We danced, played cards and refreshments were served We closed our Freshman year wuth a pucnuc at Muneral Sprungs It was so cold that ut snowed, but we had fun anyway WW When we came back for our soph omore year we had lost four mem bers and gauned four ln October of thus year we unutuated the freshmen and they later return ed the party We ended thus year wuth a Pucnuc r Lake After the pucnuc we came back to Kenyon to roller skatung party ln our Junuor year we lost several students leavung us twenty sux to funush thus year We decuded to take a class trup at thp end of our senuor year unstead of havung a Prom, so began makung money every way possuble Wurh great success we gave as Senuor year started wuth two more students to add to our enrollment Charlotte Faulkner came from Madelua and Janet Rossu came back from Pune lsland Hugh In February Chuck Geuse went unto the Aur Corps and us now based un Texas The WEST WIND staff was or ganuzed wuth Aluce Dullman and Ardus Troff as co edutors Also theAnnualstaffwuthAluceDullman as edutor We have ae uded to go up North for a week for our class trup We are to stay at Becker s resort Wusconsun We plan to spend about a week un takung excursuons to varuous pounts of unterest such as the uron munes We spent our Skup day tourung the State Pruson at Stullwater I 0 H ' we ' ou - . at , n . .
