His mind is occupied with studies and other cares, mostly other cares. ln September of '55 we entered We-Go High as bewildered freshmen with Miss Stahl as our class adviser. That year we elected Mike Adamson, President, Jack Simms, Vice-President, Dick Kloubec, Treasurer, and Tubby Warkentin, Secretary. We also sponsored the Freshman Basketball Tournament, and Freshman Day for the newcomers to We-Go. With Miss Geiken guiding us our sophomore year, we elected two new officers: Jerry Kerner as Vice-President and Sharon Weissing as Secretary. We put on our first party, The Plymouth Rock, which was a great success. The spring elections were won by the 59ers, a political party of four boys with Jerry Kerner, President, Bob Horrobin, Vice-President, Dick Kloubec, Treasurer, and Steve Willeumier, Secretary. Since our four Student Council members were also boys, we elected Mary Lou Hansen as Parliamentarian. Our iunior year we again had a ltremendousl Thanksgiving party, The Turkey Trot. ln mid-year Bob Horrobin moved and Jim Messer was elected to the Vice-Presidency. About 50 juniors went on the Washington trip that spring, accompanied by Miss Mahoney and Mr. Kiiskila, our class adviser. Also that spring we re-elected our four officers and presented the iunior class play, Father's Been to Mars. Our biggest event was the iunior-senior prom, Sayonara . We started our senior year with the homecoming dance, and put on another play, The Matchmaker, under the direction of Mr. Hanley. Our Christmas party Winter Dreams went over dreamily. Under the urgings of our class adviser, Mr. Smith, we financed the first printed edition of the We-Go. As we leave with reluctant footsteps, we recall the past with a touch of sentiment but look to the future with ambition. STEVE WILLEUMIER Steve Aiming for the moon.
