WALTER AST, Vice-President ff- wan Tis better to sleep in class than waste a perfectly good night. QENIOIZ GLASS HICNIGHTQ AND mouse Early in September of 1954, we were welcomed into We-Go High School. Mr. Smith was appointed our class advisor, and we chose Marilyn Hawley, class president, John Jaeger, vice-president, Maryanne Kovarik, secretary, and Rose Marie Warkentin, treasurer. April Antics was the theme of our successful all-freshman party. In 1955, Mr. Holcombe became our sophomore class advisor, the new officers were John Jaeger, president, Ronald Stahl, vice-president, and Vicki Fletcher, secretary. Rain spoiled one of our major proiects of the year .... our homecoming float. Mr. Kiiskila counseled us through our iunior year. Our only new officers were fRobertj Bob Peterson, president and Judith Brown, vice-president. Cupid's Bow was the title of our Valentine Dance. During Easter vacation many of us traveled to Washington D. C. Under the supervision of Miss Mahoney, we saw many of the beautiful and historical places in our nation's capital. On May 18, Soiree A La Paris, the first prom to be held in our new cafeteria, was a memorable event. In our Senior year, 1958, we elected Richard Enders, president, Walter Ast, vice- president, Joanne Deischl, secretary, and for the fourth time, Rose Marie Warkentin, treasurer. Mr. Smith again became our class advisor. Under his leadership, we plan- ned many activities such as the homecoming dance, Christmas party, and most of all, our graduation in June.
