On campus one sees Mi.ss Bernatz chatting with students in the snack bar, consulting with Resident Ad- visors about dormitory concerns, dealing with discipline problems, advising Women ' s Government officers, hostessing important .social events, and anticipating the day when her women students are graduated from West Chester as thinking, achieving, well-adjusted, professionally minded adults. Dean Killinger and his assistant are the official ad- visors of the Men ' s Resident Council which reports any discipline problems, general dorm conditions, and needed improvements. OPERATORS C;ollt ' Ke opt ' iators, seatt ' d: Mrs. Lane, Mrs. Harrington. Sffliu ing: Mrs. Palmer, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. McCullough. Caught up in a web of buzzing telephone lines, these two operators ualmly handle the difficult task of transmitting telephone calls. Many people are involved in the process of keeping a campus together and essential to this process are adequate communication facilities. Instrumental in maintaining this commimication for the campus are the college operators, who administer all calls to and from the college, and in this capacity, perform a valuable ser ' ice. Considering the enrollment of the college and the pressures in ol ed in transmit- ing calls, the operators delixer prompt serxices. MEDICAL STAFF Dr. Kistlcr carefully gives this student a routine medical check. The College Infirmar ' staff, Mrs. Futer, Dr. Kistler, Mrs. Willard and Mrs. Boyer, proficiently manage to meet the health needs of West Chester ' s students. The Infirmary Staff keeps an up-to-date record of the physical condition of every student, and a member of the staff is always present to attend to the medical problems and needs of the individual college student. 25
