DEAN OF WOMEN It takes moie than tlie written word to describe the tasks that the Dean of Women ' s Staff (seated. Miss Bernice Bernatz; Miss Carolyn Spiesz, left; and Mrs. Florence Inghram, right) has to undertake in order to fulfill their committments towards meeting the needs of the co-eds. On campus one sees Mi.ss Bernatz chatting with students in the snack bar, consulting with Resident Ad- visors about dormitory concerns, dealing with discipline problems, advising Women ' s Government officers, hostessing important .social events, and anticipating the day when her women students are graduated from West Chester as thinking, achieving, well-adjusted, professionally minded adults. DEAN OF MEN This year Dean W. Glen Killinger (left) has had the fortune to be ably assisted by Mr. Ronald L. Gottshall (right) in his untiring efforts to maintain a high standard of conduct and per- sonal character among men students. Dean Killinger and his assistant are the official ad- visors of the Men ' s Resident Council which reports any discipline problems, general dorm conditions, and needed improvements. Dean Killinger is very responsive to the needs of the men students and works to create an atmosphere that is academically as well as socially enlightening. Among Dr. Killinger ' s other duties is his service to the baseball team. During all his years of service with West Chester baseball teams. Dr. Killinger has never failed to boost the spirit of his teams. Con- gratulations Dean Killinger. for a job well done.
