3F : A meefing of minds — Wnile shopping, five coeds gaze hungrily through a local bahery shop window. Making a selection from the variety of pastries on display is occasion for lengthy debate and long deliberation. Marveling at the unending stream of literature at his disposal, this man inspects each new-found treasure. Students take time out to enjoy a game of pool in the Rec. Observers as well as participants anxiously await the next shot. W iose favorite will it be •—• The juke box offers a variety of sounds. Trouble occurs when limited funds necessitate limited selections. Frosh Court judge beckons another reluctant freshman to appear before the tribunal. Court police escort her to the stand for sentencing. 25

Three seniors take a break while enjoying a cup of coffee at the Pig. Lynda Busch, Pat James, and Diana Martinez find this spot ideal for letter writing, test cramming, socializing. High spirits and empty stomachs — After a fun- packed afternoon at Nathaniel Newlin ' s Grist Mill, seniors enjoyed an evening of toasted marshmallows and moonlight dancing, climaxing their picnic. Hungry athletes fortify themselves in anticipation of a rugged afternoon on the practice fields. Waiter Ed Vogel stands ready to serve. The final year in college is crammed witk many special events. The January Cordial, Senior Picnic, and Senior Weekend are just a few of the social act ivities enjoyed. Student Teaching, a special experience, contributes greatly to this final move toward the Bache- lor of Science Degree. A Senior learns to face seriously the challenge of education and look forward to his future in the profession. REMEMBERING Ready, set, go — Senior student-teachers, James Prihula and James Emerick, start a relay race as part of the Health and Physical Education Department ' s program for mentally retarded children.
