FOREWORD We, the CJlass of 1961, are proud and happy to have been the first graduating class to witness the addition of three new l)uildings on our campus, and to have come under the capable leadership of our new President, Dr. T. Noel Stern. Keeping these things in mind, we have tried to catch phases of our college life and to record them in our yearbook .so that we may relive our college days as the years pass by. We have come a long way since the early founding of the Normal School with its serpentine build- ings. Now we are looking toward a future that will prove to be more challenging than ever. Progress will continue as the light of modern times makes the way clearer. Therefore, we leave our college and enter the world as citizens and leaders of tomorrow.
