Flags bordering the walk leading to Philips Memorial waved a welcome to our President, Dr. T. Noel Stem. The Presidential Inauguration The Inauguration of our new college President, Dr. T. Noel Stern, was one of the most important and impressive events of this college year. On De- cember 3, 1960, at 10:30 A. M. the of- ficial Inauguration was enacted with an infoniiative address b ' Dr. Stern. The entire weekend was filled with gala activities including a Luncheon following the Inauguration, a Jazz con- cert in the afternoon starring Cozy Morley, and the Inaugural Ball in the evening. This special occasion will long be remembered by all who participated. Dr. and Mrs. T. Noel Stem chatted ith West Chester ' s Burgess Lucas, during the Luncheon held in their honor. Beneath a ceiling of decorative streamers, students and facultv danced to the strains of the Criterions. Our new President and his lady whirled around the floor at the Inaugural Bull. 23
