Theory begins all — then gradually activities begin to loom into the future until there is a merger of theory and practice. In the senior year the final application advances, and all theory, all activities, all practice is combined to form the final application of knowledge — student teaching. The union of all formal and acquired knowledge is finally realized as we are faced by a real teaching experience. 14

Many physical structures offer, with firmness and strength, an invitation to enter and seek knowledge when passing through their portals. The archway of Anderson Hall stands as a bulwark offering refuge for those eager for education. The entrances to each room of the library and the main entrance provoke learning and inject strength and encourage- ment as we pass through. The card catalogue pre- sents a staunch barricade on the one side of the library and bids all to enter, see, and find correct paths of study.
