Through them we have many varied activi- ties. This organization allocates money to all groups on campus except classes and helps to administer the activities of these groups. Women ' s Day Oouncil The Day Councilors represent the commuting coeds. First row, left to right: C. Serun- tine, A. Britton, J. Phodiates. Second row: E. Grayball, G. Emel, Vice-President; J. Each spring resident women elect girls to serve on the Dormitory Council. Its main functions are to serve as a connecting link between the women and the administration, and to help girls become better campus citizens. At weekly hall meetings, councilors present the social calendar and other pertinent infor- mation concerning resident women. Women ' s Day Council has the responsibility of helping commuting women experience a more pleas- ant college life. The Day Councilors plan parties, take care of the day rooms, and keep commuters posted on the latest college news and events. These girls hold weekly meetings with freshmen groups.
