Our President We cannot leave West Chester State Teachers College without stopping to consider those who contributed to our happiness and welfare. Certainly, our president is one who had helped us feel welcome and happy at this college. As a former student and teacher at West Chester, our president is keenly aware of the needs and problems of the students enrolled today. He continually tries to improve our college in any way he can. He smiles sincerely at us when we pass him on campus; he joins us in cheering to victory our athletic teams, and he makes us feel important by shaking our hands when he greets us at his home and at college affairs. We offer our sincere appreciation along with our farewell to the president of West Chester State Teachers College— Dr. Charles S. Swope.
