Marching Band West Chester ' s Marching Band is on or- ganization in which all of the college take pride. Throughout the year the band has helped to develop a feeling of school spirit at the various pep rallies, parades, and athletic events. Led by drum major John Dunphy and directed by Mr. Paul Carson and Dr. Antonowich, the Marching Band provided the college with outstanding en- tertainment and fine music. John Dunphy, drum major, adeptly wields his baton. Mr. Paul Carson, director of the Marching Band, and his assistant. Dr. Alexander An- tonowich, deserve much credit for what they have done to make the band one of the finest in the state.

College Choruses The Aden ' s Chorus, under the direction of Mr. Roy K. Sweef, gave many fine perform- ances, both on campus and in the community. An active choral group connected with the music department is the Women ' s Chorus, directed by Miss Jane Sheppard.
