Convocation A chapel program that is always enjoyable is one presented by the Little Theater players. Here is a scene from the play Wurtzel - Flummery. Behind that monkey suit stands none other than Dr. McTavish of the Science Department. The Master of Ceremonies for the quiz show is John Hepp. The Campus Charities program was presented in the form of a Masquerade Party Show. The Collegettes did the singing commercials, and the panelists participating were representatives of the four curricula.

Junior Prom Reservations for tlie cruise to Paradise Island aboard the S.S. West Chester State were filled well in advance of the sailing date of November nineteenth. After weeks of prep aration by various committees, the crew, made up of tlie Junior Class, provided a memorable trip to a make-believe isle. Dancers swayed to the smooth nmsic of the Criterions against a tropical back- ground of palm trees and sandy shore. The crowning of Carole Rupert as queen of the island added a regal note to the unforgettable occasion. As midnight approached, the dancers bade a sad farewell to Paradise Island. Vivacious, blue-eyed blonde, Carole Rupert reigned over this year ' s Junior Prom. Carole ' s many activities in- cluded cheerleading, Student Govern- ment, Student Council, Big-Little Sis- ter Committee, and the Women ' s Rec- reation Association. 26
